What Is ISO 14001?
The current version of the ISO 14001 standard is ISO 14001:2015.
ISO 14001 is the international standard for a environmental management system (“EMS”).
ISO 14001 is a standard established and published by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, that specifies requirements for an environmental management system (EMS). The EMS is designed to help organizations develop and implement effective, policies, objectives, and methods to improve environmental performance.
An EMS helps a company to systematically identify, evaluate, and manage the environmental aspects (i.e. the impact of its activities on the environment) of its products and services, and to integrate environmental concerns into its business processes.
